Our Global Stakeholder Engagement
At RELX, we are committed to open and responsible communication with all our stakeholders—including retailers, distributors, suppliers, adult consumers, and employees. We provide clear and transparent materials that outline our positions on key issues and, when appropriate, invite stakeholders to share their perspectives with public officials. In many cases, these viewpoints are also communicated through respected trade, industry, and community organizations.
Our Membership in Organizations
RELX International actively participates in a variety of organizations worldwide that address issues shaping our business and industry. These groups which include trade associations and other membership-based organizations contribute through:
Educational initiatives to promote awareness and knowledge-sharing.
Professional development and training to strengthen industry standards.
Public policy research and outreach to inform balanced decision-making.
We carefully evaluate every organization we collaborate with to ensure alignment with our values and to avoid legal or reputational risks. In some cases, we provide financial support to third-party organizations. For key partnerships, our employees may also serve in volunteer roles such as committee members or advisory council representatives. We deeply value their contributions, as these forums provide opportunities to exchange ideas, share insights, and engage in constructive dialogue on policy matters important to us.

Transparency and Disclosure
In line with the policies of the organizations we engage with, as well as our own internal transparency and disclosure guidelines, RELX, support and memberships may be publicly disclosed on their official websites.
Addressing Policy Misalignment
If an organization we are part of adopts a public policy that does not align with our values, we may:
Voice our objection to that policy, or
Refrain from advocating in support of it.
If we determine that continued membership in such an organization is impractical or inconsistent with our principles, we will responsibly end our engagement.
